Do I still have to pay if I don’t get a loan?

Question:

I understand why I have to pay a fee and I'm happy to do so. What I dont understand is whether I have to pay your fee even if i dont get a loan? Thats not fair if I do

We don't expect you to pay for our service if you don't receive a loan that you're happy with. If at any time you're unhappy with the lender we've found, or if you get turned down, all you need to do is tell us. You can then make a choice whether you want to continue with us and let us find you a new lender, or whether you want to cancel your application and stop the fee being paid.

If you've already paid a fee and you would like a refund, it's simple to get one. All you need to do is Log In with the username and password we sent you and click on this link: I would like a refund. If you're not ready to do this now you can find 'I would like a refund' on the page called 'Contact Us'.

If you've forgotten your login details you can click here: Forgotten your login details? If you still can't find them don't worry, just fill out the refund form and tell us your email address, postcode and reason for refund and we'll search for any payments you've made.

in your last answer you say go to the "my accounts" section, ive been through the web page an cannot find this section

reply from Candice Gallab

The 'My Account' section of the website is right at the top of the Loanfinder page along the blue box and can be found between 'My Lenders' and 'Questions'. Simply click on the tab and it will take you through to where you want to be. If you're not logged in you won't be able to see 'My Account', so make sure you're logged in.

You couldn't find me a lender so you wont be taking the fee?

reply from Candice Gallab

We work off our own back and don't pass your details on to any lenders,
so we don't know whether you've been accepted unless you tell us. If
we haven't managed to find you a lender you're happy with, and you'd
like to stop our fee being paid, please cancel this by logging in
using the username and password we sent you and clicking on this
link:
I would like to cancel. If you're not ready to cancel now, you can log in, visit 'My Account'
and select the option to cancel your payment.
